Snow Patrol Ready New Album
How they have time to even sleep is beyond us.  After completing one of the longest tours for an indie band, Snow Patrol is freshly announcing a new album entitled Eyes Open.  The 11 track opus is already creating buzz across the UK and much of the US.  This is in part due to their previous ground breaking Final Straw selling almost a half million copies.  But it’s also in part to the leaks that this is going to be one stellar effort by the band.

The album is to be available with a DVD behind-the-scenes of their Final Straw tour last year and is scheduled to hit the streets May 9th.  Below is a list of the songs:

You're All I Have
Hands Open
Chasing Cars
Shut Your Eyes
Beginning To Get To Me"
You Could Be Happy
Make This Go on Forever
Set the Fire to the Third Bar
Headlights

British Invasion Explodes in L.A. Riots
1,500 people attending the British Invasion 2K6 event in San Bernardino, Los Angeles rioted when police responding to an apparent crowd stabbing agitated the concert goers into several scuffles.  Police were forced back by the crowd with pebbles and bottles until backup arrived in riot gear.  Pepper balls and tear gas were used to sedate the crowd but even more aggravation ensued.  Local businesses were vandalized and two police vehicles were demolished as the crowd dispersed.  The concert, being held at the National Orange Show Events Center included acts such as The Adicts and Vice Squad.  Two concert goers have been reported hospitalized and two officers were reported with minor injuries.
