Marco and Joe returned to Chicago to a mixed crowd of those who appreciate their jazz fusion and the misplaced hippies who think the Jersey duo's music is filling a summer tour void gone the way of the Mohicans since Phish split. On a stage surrounded by an electric orgy of gadgetry, Marco Benevento and Joe Russo under the Benevento Russo Duo mantra played what can only be described as a razz (that's rock and jazz - coined) set exceptionally poignant and striking in resonance.
